Diana 4x32 scope Will it work?
Dear All,
I have Diana 54 airking in .22 caliber. I want to scope it with Diana 4x32 scope.
Please let me know if Diana 4x32 scope has the capability to hold POI on Diana 54 or not. In fact Diana 54 is recoiless to the shooter but to the scope it is the hardest gun.
Some people say that they have used Diana 4x32's earlier version that was known as "Magnum Plus". The currently manufactured scope is just Diana 4x32.
If I purchase the new Diana 4x32 scope, will it hold POI and live long on my Diana 54 Airking.
Please advise and share your experiences in this respect.
Regards,
Bhaur

No one can guaranty you if the scope can sustain. You can just try and let us know if your gun is able to break the scope.

Re: Diana 4x32 scope Will it work?
All scope from Diana are adult break barrel rated, don't worry about POI it will hold, and if some manufacturing defect occur you can get it replaced from Diana.
Sometimes if you want to get rid of the gun, you have to pick the gun up.

Thanks for reply. In fact I have talked to Diana Company but they say that this scope was not made keeping in mind Diana 54 airking.
On the other hand I have met some one who has used this scope on 54 with success.
I just want to know, how many of us have used it on 54 with success.
Is there any failure which can be reported here.

The Diana 4x32 scope should be fine but the D54 is known to wreck many "air gun rated" scopes. More importantly its the mount that you should be worrying about as the D54 mechanism moves back when the trigger is pulled to reduce recoil felt by the shooter.
This is what will work positively. Be sure to get the right rings along with the mount.

Also some knowledge for you on the subject.

I have one mount but it is for D34/36/38 not for D48/52/54
If you need more help, let me know.......

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

Yes but Diana get all their scopes manufactured according to their own spessifications. They give their requirements to the vendors in China.Rijo Joseph wrote:Then how can this statement be true !!!!In fact I have talked to Diana Company but they say that this scope was not made keeping in mind Diana 54 airking.

[quote="mubhaur"]Dear All,
I Agree with above,
I have been using Bushnell Trophy 6-18 x 40 on Diana 48 at least 15000 shots successfully, but same scope on my friends 54 did not lasted 500 shots,
cross hair broke and turrets got loosed on that scope.
Diana 54 is a scope eater rifle, you can try Leapers True Strength range

Re: Diana 4x32 scope Will it work?
I have talked to Diana Germany. They say that this gun is really very hard to scopes. They recommend Diana made high end scope and with Theoban mount. Still they say that their warranty is not beyond 2 years in case of scopes.brihacharan wrote:> Diana 54 Airking a Scope Eater
