Hi

Six months back I purchased one BRNO model 2 from my Club. It is 1961 make. Though I had one a .22 winchester pump action of good condition I went for the second. At first I had the vascillation whether to go for the BRNO. I enquired one or two dealers in chennai and coimbatore. They were not having one but they suggested to get one for arround 3 lakh. On a casual exchange with one dealer he said he would by anything like a skeleton with the barrel Marked CZ for a lakh. Then I made a choice and went for BRNO. Now I have one. I payed 1 lakh. The condition is 99% good. When things of rare come along get them if you are offord.

BTW what are the disadvantages of a BRNO having 12 nos. of grooves ? Advantage is that the projectile will have less friction resulting in higher velocity. But I want to know whether this type of grooving really gives more accuracy as advocated by many. Marlin type micro-grooving gives more accuracy, but can it be called a micro-grooving by just giving more nos. of shallow grooves ? I hope my gun gurus will clear my doubts. Regards to all.
