Now it reach to Hyderabad airport cargo and I have to clear it individually .gun is now in Hyderabad tomorrow I will go to airport.lets see what happen

In morning i talk to Fedex Delhi clearing team and ask about the notification they told me that till now the notification didn't come but they are expecting it.It can come in any time any news about it.

Does that mean...
It came to Hyderabad via Mumbai (through some domestic airlines) without getting custom cleared...??
And now you need to get it cleared from the Customs at the Cargo terminal...??
Does FedEx have any clearing agent in Hyderabad... or is it totally upto you now...??

Sorry for so many questions... but i need to know since there is no International Airport in Bhopal (therefore the Customs are not a very informed bunch of people when it comes to Weapons)... in that case... my convincing powers will be put to the ultimate test...

from delhi fedex transfer the shipment to anther company jeena and company they bring the shipment to hyderabad and charge anther rs 3600 as shipping and handling charges and give my the related document and told me hire some local guy to release the shipment now you are on your own their is no confirm news but i here that hyderabad custom officers are also follow delhi model they are not releasing the shipment as courier shipment and they are transferring the courier mode shipment in baggage and cargo shipments and charging duty on it

my .177 air rifle has been detained at Mumbai airport since 8th September. Demuragge is mounting. I hope they sort out all legal issues and let us know what the new rules are. So far have repeatedly been from Police to Customs and they seem to be playing ping-pong. No one seems to know the rules ! Im also a member of a rifle club but thats of no help. Any advice from any of the members ?
