Pl check photo no. 4: The IOF could not even engrave the sl no. and calibre on the pistol in a slightly better manner. A very shoddy job!!!

 CONGRATULATIONS Mr Sandhurs1 for your new companion !

Pl. let us know how much rounds you got from IOF as per my information they are not issuing any round with the weapon. further I want to know if someone guide me that I reached IOF KOSSIPORE to collect my weapon on my schedule date but the gateman told me to come after DEC. 5 as they suspended the supply due to constituency elections in their state on NOV. 30, 2011 and on reaching Headquarter Lal Bazar for TL, I was told to come on Dec. 07, 2011. What should I do now as my PP is for a limited period, because there seems no accurate date on OFB website for their collection date for the personnel whose supply is suspended w.e.f. Nov. 21, 20011.

Dear my first visit was on 12 sept 2011, I reached at GSF Cossipore 10am sharp, to my surprise they refused to deliver the weapon. Election commission sent them a notice previous day(11sept ) to suspend weapon delivery immediately in view of Code of Conduct as South Calcutta was going for parliament election in last weeks of Sept.

This caused me unimaginable loss of mental peace, money, physical discomfort.
(distance from Ferozpore Amritsar to Calcutta 1650km appx). I made to and fro journey in a day so it was 3300km in a day.
A simple SMS from GSF factory could have saved me from this ordeal.(Mera Bharat Mahaan)
Fortunalely I have ALL INDIA Licence so I was spared of botheration to get NOC and TL.

If you tolerance threshold is so low, better get counseling. That is an idiotic comment to make.If this is your attitude then you are the sort of people who, even those who advocate RKBA agree, should be denied access to firearms.

I agree with WTP. If keeping weapon makes u macho, u should'nt have one.

Why people keep arms in our country. 95% for status symbol and macho (syndrome) as stated by Vineet. :agree: with winnie.
