hi doc congrats for your new buy......I love that Walther Dominater 1250 fps.I have one question is this rifle can be imported to india legally in personal baggage????As the rifle is pocessing a 40 joule power and 1250 fps in .22 cal it will fail in deal wood test definitely.(some of our forum member once said that test was conducted in a wood which came as vegetable box).Hi members please write your opinions also in this matter and correct me if i am wrong.I also want to know the legal aspects of this.

hi friends thanks for every comment.
x-ltarget...the bsa is 5shot magzine fed.
renjith747...i bought it through a friend of mine in mumbai, paid all tax; legally.
well its 40 joule and has enough power t,i like field targets at 100 and more meters(sniping)with this air rifle.
there are more powerful valves availabe for dominator.50joules..70 joules.
i am yet to lay my hands on them.
bill...it had a scope bed(not after make,i am sure, home made)mounts depended on the scope .(leaper, will post more snaps this sunday)again my friend chris from mumbai sent me lot of mounts to select so was easy.but wasted few mounts on the course.
regards

dr.jayakumar,

I have been observing your posts for quite a while and I can see your passion...Where exactly in Tamilnadu are you located??

The reason I am asking is that I have lived in TN a few years myself (Madurai, to be precise) and traveled over quite a bit including surrounding states during my school days by road - travel by FIAT Millicento 1100-1956, Piaggio Vespa 150-1965, and Raj-Yam-350-Hi-Torque - early 1980's (AP, Kerala, Karnataka), and met up with some fellow motorcycle/motor vehicle and gun enthusiasts)!

Given a chance, I would be over there in TN and pitch camp right next to your well (Kennaru), relaxed on a 'charpoy', or even 'Paai' - check out your rifles - especially the home-made shooting rest ...and demand fresh coconuts (maybe even toddy - very early in the morning) - just checking -
