However it is deleted from this this thread with no reason nor any update form the mods.
Well it was deleted twice. Will upload the third time.

If the mods have deleted your post it is with good reason. If you put up the post again you will earn a card for your troubles.
Some members are resorting to "show and tell" posts as a way of soliciting offers to buy and get around the forum rules. Your post was seen as such . MOD.
That means I cant update a part of my collection nor comment on any post on this forum. For any retaliation a member is given a warning or is banned. As its clearly mentioned on the thread, I will get a warning if I put picks of my knife the third time.

So its a MOD or MOD's who decide who Pm’s which member or contacts which member for any information. MOD's are free to delete, edit, ban any topic based on assumptions.

Discretion is based upon the mods in other words, in the near future, are these rules applicable to all members or only for member targeted by MOD's. Any new rules proposed that I was not aware of ?

“Members have to seek permisison, before posting picks or comment on any post or comment on a thread. Even if its not reguarding sale & not profane in nature, requesting origin of the content posted”

Will I get a warning for voicing my opinion ? Im sure before getting a warning, the above will be deleted, the same way the picks were, based on assumptions. Followed by a ban on write accrees, only read access. When a decission is taken to ban certain members, the facts are taken care of & posts or threads are deleted. So that others wont dare to comment, express their view nor question such actions.

If it is seen as an attempt to invite offers to buy it will be removed. This will be at the Mods discretion whether you like it or not.

One of the jobs of the moderators is to ensure that the rules are followed. If after you are told that it has been deleted ,you still try to post it you will get a warning or worse. The Mods have better things to do than keep deleting your posts.

You got it right in one! Yes , the Mods actions will be based on their judgement and at their discretion. This is a privately owned forum and your ability to post,PM etc are privileges given to you.If you abuse these privileges ,they will be taken away.
Rules are applicable to all members including the Mods. As for targeting members, action will be taken as required and as seen fit.Your post is not the first to be deleted for the stated reasons.

I agree this is a privately owned forum, used by enthusiast as well as sellers & buyers. I am also well aware this is a privilege and not a right. However as judged “My post of the knife being a new edition to my collection was an attempt to invite offers”. Aren’t the rest of the collectible knives listed under this topic equally inviting? There are picks of knives that are masterpieces as well. What a pity not one knife listed from all is inviting, except mine ?

Besides the MOD’s have no control randomly if any member wishes to contact another member regardless of the conversation for assistance, sale, purchase, reviews, etc. So there is no control over a conversation, over the phone or email.

“One of the jobs of the moderators is to ensure that the rules are followed. If after you are told that it has been deleted ,you still try to post it you will get a warning or worse. The Mods have better things to do than keep deleting your posts”

Picks of another knife or the same knife can posted. Will that be also deleted? The action will taken based upon the judgement & discretion of MOD’s. Please don’t not confuse the ambition of few with mine or many.

A sincere request, please don’t judge a member or members on this forum, as the forum isn’t the court of law.
At this rate, soon the post & threads will be created, edited, deleted & viewed only by MOD’s.

The Mods will control what happens on this forum .What happens outside this forum is not our concern.
Thanks for your your concern about the well being of the forum.
I think enough has been said on this topic.

friends,
i really don't know how chris could got into this controversy.
as far as i know him,he has never pushed anything on anyone,i have seen most of his collections other than those posted in this forum.
i think this must have been a misunderstanding.
hope the' mods' have a second look.
regards.

Hi,

I have only 4. Out of them 3 are S&Ws. I dont know why I have an affinity towards the S&Ws, may be because I get them easily and cheap  .

Doug Ritter MK1, a modified Benchmade mini-grip.

Post by choombak » Tue Nov 01, 2011 8:55 am

Latest is a Doug Ritter MK1, which is basically a modified Benchmade mini-griptilian, with the blade and tolerances designed by Mr. Ritter. Some differences from a mini-grip:
* blade shape, steel (S30V), and stone washed finish.
* pocket clip made of spring steel, and does not deform easily.
* finger jimping extends onto the blade.
* very tight tolerances, and buttery smooth opening (smoothest of all knives I've handled to date).
* full SS liners to increase the handle strength.
* very little price variation (since portions go towards Mr. Ritter's foundation), street cost almost twice that of a mini-grip!

More information on Doug Ritter's site here.
