is IZH-Baikal IZH 46M Match Pistol is allowed in ISSF,and it follow all rules and norms of ISSf .

Yes it does. Many shooters have participated in international ISSF events with Izzy before. Its a great starter gun for learning and nothing stops you from taking it to any ISSF event.

Fave weapon of USSR team. Also oft used weapon by top Maharashtra state male/ female shooters. Only two 'drawbacks' noted so far - "unappealing" stock - but it was so left so that the user could shape as per his/ her need. The other was the seal problem. Now compared to the Russians, the IHP could be said to have a better post sales - service !

The only thing that made me *uneasy* from going the IZZY way.

However check with jitu sati on this forum - he shoots the IZZY. Good Luck.
