G'DAY Fellows Doc is absolutly right. this axactly what happened to my dad's ERMA .32 about 8 years ago
while i was shooting.(i mean the revolver was broken from those exact points) latter came to know its very common in case of ERMA. A strange thing about ERMA revolvers is they miss when shot at a 90degree angle due
to The slip of ammo. within the chamber. latter sold the broken ERMA to a known dealer for 40 grand and bought a .32 WEBLEY & SCOTT B series.

Erma and Arminius are the two German revolvers that I wouldn't touch with a barge pole. They are simply UGLY to look at and seem to defy German Engineering and metallurgy,

Re: ERMA WERKE MODEL: ER -432 .32 revolver
Dear all,
I have personally witnessed how the dealers in Singapore operated and palmed of these Arminius and Erma revolvers to the ignorant buyers This was in the days before the import ban on Arms came into being. They would simply ask a few questions and gauged out how much the buyer knew about fire arms and "Voila". That's how I feel these substandard German revolvers found their way into the country. other lure on some of these being 7 shots instead of six, light weight etc. These fire arms generated huge margin of profit for the Singapore dealers and I distinctly remember their shops those days used to bursting at the seams with Indian and Malaysian buyers. Bob from Hock Ann Sports tried the act on me as well but then bent backwards to please me lest I let out his game plan. An acquaintance wasn't so lucky as he brought back a Remington BDL in 7mm Magnum instead of a ZKK-600 Brno in 30-06 caliber which he had originally planned to get. He was convinced by Bob that 30-06 was on its way out from the world and soon the manufacture of the rifles in this caliber would be a distant memory.
Cheers !!
