Happy 7th, IFG, and all its members. I will be on a train from Kolkata to NJP on 27th, and the Indian Railways ban consumption of alcohol, but will surely raise a mineral water toast!

7 years already!?! :D Lets strive to recruit more members, especially those who are looking to apply for licenses and hope we have significantly larger numbers by the 10th anniversary. :D

Let's all of us go to the ranges and shoot to our heart's content (yea yea license's are the limit), use airguns when you run out of powder. And then sit together cleaning the stuff, while liberally using gun oil as after shave. Mind you Hoppe's No 9 was quite wearable and in fact the rumour is that they are really working on this idea. After which a good bbq and the malted stuff with old shooting tales. All in favour say aye :-).

Yes, we certainly have come a long way in the past 7 years; besides the membership count, today IFG serves over 830,000 (and growing every month) pages per month to over 70,000 unique visitors and most of these visitors are not registered members. The vast & unique knowledgebase that members have accumulated here over the years is helping the public at large as well as fulfilling one of the primary goals for which this community was initiated - the promotion of the right to keep & bear arms in India!

@ Brihacharan - While I am sure you meant it metaphorically, but just for everyone else's benefit:
