i am confuse in .22 air rifle & .22 lr rifle which gun suitable for low cost and good for targate practice and good accuracy.

indian humepipe .177 side lever air rifle with peep sight would be ideal for you, but it takes two months time from order to delivery, they have also introduced a pneumatic air rifle http://www.indianhumepipe.com/pistol.html#pneumatic

lr .22 is a rimfire rifle with range upto one mile;and you need an arms license for that. otherwise choose from ihf. thereis lot of differance between them

Don't think any air-rifle will give you good accuracy at 1,200 fps for an explanation see http://www.pyramydair.com/blog/2005/03/ ... sonic.html

As mentioned above a .22 LR will require an arms license, plus you will pay quite a bit more for ammunition (even KF .22 LR ammo is now selling for almost 20 bucks a pop).

My suggestion would be to pick up a decent air-rifle, first hone your skills with that and then consider moving on to a .22 LR.

Rest it's your dime...

I have plan to buy .22 ihp 35 air rifle. But can this gun is available in ahmedabad?...2 which air rifle is best in 20K budget in indian market availablity????

AKAIK IHP35 .22 caliber airguns are available in Ahmadabad. Well, the best air rifle depends on what you intend to use it for. For backyard pickling and target shooting IHP35 would be OK. Get one in .22 caliber if you just want a good airgun mixed with power and accuracy. But for some serious target shooting get one in .177 Also shooting ranges allow airguns in .177 caliber only.
When I'll get to shoot a gun?

2 month ago submit to my request .22 sprts rifle....15 days ago my local police station officer inquiry about this....and till date i am waiting for ACP office licence authority's reply....if i elegible for licence so i plan to buy indian made .22 lr rifle.... And .22 ihp 35 air rifle....
