New Indian law mandating license for owning air rifle

Post by vgramkris » Sun Oct 02, 2011 6:09 pm

Dear friends,

I just want to know the status of owning air rifle in India, particularly about the new law mandating license for owning an air rifle. I am just a citizen of India & not a member of any shooting club.

Regards
Ram

what the HELL? As with the firearm laws imposed up to the date, there is no need for possessing a license for an Airgun (provided that it passes the deal wood test off course). I am absolutely clueless about the new law that you are speaking of. Fellow IFGians, Please shed some light on this. To hell with these bloody rules man. It seems soon they going to demand a license for possessing kitchen knives! :x
