No idea about the manufacturing date. But this was brought to India from Singapore in 1985.

look at the barrel,to the left side,the year of manufacture must be given.

It could be in the 1980s. Its mentioned made in Czechoslovakia which indicates its before the spilt which happened in 1993.

the year of manufacture is given just 2inch behind the rear sight and below the rail(for mounting scopes) ..my rifle is of 86 mfd.

is the rear end of the receiver teniferized?? nice gun.. n good find.. how much did it lighten ur wallet if u dont mind sharing that info?? i can think of multiple uses of a nice .22 lr..
