Re: IFG paraphrenalia

Posts that don't fit into any other category. If it's anything to do with guns, it probably doesn't belong here!

Why dont the mods/owners of the website try selling IFG branded items to generate some revenue.
I can suggest a few:

1. Fridge magnets.
2. Bottle openers.
3. A basic folding knife.
4. Bumper stickers of various kinds. Also a good idea for NAGRI.
5. Rifle soft cases.
6. Caps/ hats.
7. Tee Shirts.
8. Torches.
9. Shooting vests with the IFG logo at the back.
10. Fleece Jackets with your name and the IFG logo. Different placements, as also sleeveless/ full sleeved.

I know the IFG knife was suggested and is a dead idea now. You can have a limited run of different knives for sale. The one for members with their membership numbers can be decided upon later.

Lets have an online store section here. Accounts to be audited annually by an independent auditor.
I would love to sport such stuff if available and i am sure others would too.

really great idea. I wouldn't mind reviving the IFG knife idea. Have a decent machine shop and sourcing for various grades of steel. Need some inputs on the the designing.

NAGRI stickers - not sure if you know, but after taking permission from NAGRI; Naga, m24 & Olly got together and did a limited production run (out of their own pocket) of inside wind-shield NAGRI stickers. Asides from handing them out to people personally, they also distributed quite a few during the last Big Bore Rifle championship as well as the last DSRA meeting. Some IFG members had also volunteered to distribute them in their own cities.

If anyone would like to distribute more of them, please contact one/ all of the above mentioned gents.

IFG was and continues to remain a privately owned website and has never authorised anyone to produce merchandise on its behalf. Will see what best can be done regarding the proposal for IFG branded merchandise.

Cheers!

rolling stones collect other rolling stones, moss is good for noting :D

unless its Diana moss

as you know the idea has been put on the forum before. unless the owner gives their ok or its a no go.

why not do something for the NAGRI? that is where we need more awareness. That is more of importance then IFG, one can have ones guns forum without the guns, we just be logging on our old time memories.

i seem to have touched a raw nerve,
is there a way to sell this stuff (stickers to begin with) and the proceeds going to NAGRI?
Also naga, is it possible for you guys to send me some stickers?
I can distribute them here and also a couple of other places.

This is just my opinion. Instead of "Self Defense is our Right" it should be any one of the following:

1) Arms are our Right
2) Arms are our Fundamental Right
3) Guns are our Right
4) Guns are our Fundamental Right

Arms(it also includes guns) are indeed a Fundamental Right under Articles 19 and 21 of the Constitution. Why I am saying this? Because in order to create confusion, some ignorant and impractical people with vested interests may say "Why guns for self defense? Why not non lethal alternatives like pepper spray etc.?" Answer to this will be simple "Keep your nonsense to yourself, arms/guns are our fundamental right"
