Re: Air rifle Delhi
I am not sure about the rules, I guess you can keep them unless and until you start shooting everywhere and disturb the neighbourhood.
The first part of the question is an open loop. You need to specify the budget.
The imported, magnum ones are available with a couple of dealer but comes for a premium.
The indian one IHP 35 in 177 or 22 is available with Oriental in CP and comes with a price tag of Rs 8,000/= or so.

Sorry to put in a bit of dampener, 10-20 k will not get you an imported gun in India. So my suggestion would be to go for the IHP 35, a pretty decent one (I have one) and start saving more and more to get an imported one. Could you cost you in the range of 35k+.maverick786us wrote:If the imported one is good I can spend from 10K to 20K
other option would be to take a rifle club membership and import on your own.

None needs a license but none are available "easily". You have to be on a look out so as to get the them.
About brands, the most prominent brands available in India are Diana, HW, Gamo etc.
If you want to keep the gun for yourself and pass it on to your kids, then HW it has to be. YOu can check with other members also for their suggestions.

bro, HW is the air rifle if you are going for a springer. You can go HW77 or HW80. I have a HW80 and I can tell you that you can go for it eyes closed.maverick786us wrote:Thanks I could'nt find much review of H/W Air Rifles. But any specific model that you recommend?
