@ abii, Friend this is not an original stuff. please do give me your details, will update you.

@Jash, IHP factory is temporarily closed due to some issues, try later.
Sometimes if you want to get rid of the gun, you have to pick the gun up.

As you have IHP 35, I can say for sure it is the best one in Indian Brands.
To prevent it from rust you have to be careful about a few things like.

Put 3 – 5 drops of gun oil (which you can get easily at any armory shop) in the barrel from the front sight, (where the pellet comes out)

Break the barrel put 3 – 5 drops of oil in the hole were the piston hits the pellets.

Turn the rifle towards the side where you can see the spring of the rifle and the break barrel, put 3- 5 drops of oil there also.

Keep the rifle vertical for at least 30 minutes so that the oil reaches the parts where some lubricants are required.

Clean the rifle with a clean, dry and soft cloth.
Get a wax sponge brush (you can get it at any good shoe shop) apply that brush to all the rifle part with smooth touch.

Never keep you rifle in damn atmosphere.

For rifle precision, go to some place where there is less air deviation, put a target board, try shots from 10 meters, keep a note about the pellet hitting shapes, then increase the distance. If the shot are making round holes then its good.
If you are not a perfect shooter then take some kind of rest support.

Those numbers are nothing but the size of the pellets such as
5.5 is 0.22 and 4.5 is 0.177 caliber, I think yours may be 0.22.

thank u i did everything u ve mentiond......my gun is shooting a lot of smoke now.....wat happns if som oil gets inside dat small piston hole?

When i was oiling my airrifle , my gun also shooting smoke.
After 40-50 shot it stopped... :)

bodhijobs wrote:It will shoot a lot of smoke for some time because of the oil inside. this phenomenon is called dieseling. excess oil is getting burnt. it should stop after some time.

They have various makes of airguns from Kolkata only. I had enquired with them, they don't have IHP national air Rifles.

http://www.nationalairarms.com/ ---the site places them in Calicut, Kerala. Am not sure if they still exist/are genuine!! I tried all their phone numbers but no one answered. I have mailed them..lets see if there is a response.. considering the amount of spelling and grammatical errors they have made in their site..( "pistel", "pallet"..etc) am not sure if it isn't just a prank!!!...will post if i get a response!! If anyone from Calicut can confirm their existence/non-existence it would be great.
