Dear All,
I was hoping some of you could shed light on the process to acquire a manufacturing license for Airguns & Pistols in India.
I realize that the recent judgment on possession of Airguns could well make this process impossible, however, I was interested to know the process prior to this judgment.
I have referred to the A & A policy on the MHA website, however it does not spell things out clearly.
I would be most obliged if any of you could provide me with any information, or point me in the correct direction, from where I can get this info.
Much Obliged.
Adi

Re: Lisc to Manufacture Airguns
You should go the DM/Police Commissioner office and apply for the manufacturing licence. The application form is the same as applicable to Individual arms licence.
Your application after recommendations will go up to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, New Delhi for grant of licence to manufacture airguns.

Dear Bandukbhandar,
Thank You for the input.
Wanted to check, if any of you are aware of any such licenses, which have recently been issued.
Also wanted to check, if any of you could recommend a Consultant who has prior experience in helping companies, acquiring such licenses.
All your inputs will be highly appreciated.
Regards,
Adi
