I don't know much about the FWB P 34, but if it uses compressed air and it shoots fine don't change it.airgun_novice wrote:Dear hvj1 guruji and dev - thank you both for the important tips.
One off the side Q - Nowadays I practice with a used FWB P34 - am thinking of getting me an IZH-46M due to price factor and trade the FWB in. Should I go for it or continue with FWB P34 ?
The Baikal is attractive in terms of price but it takes a while to master due to the weight and the ploughhandle type of grip. You will spend more time carving the grip than shooting and a ready made grip is more expensive than half the cost of the pistol. The surprising trend nowadays is that every air pistol shooter has the latest Morini 162ie or the Steyr lp 10 THANKS TO OUR GOVERNMENT POLICY CHANGE. So why should you limit yourself with the pumping action of the 46m? I shot one for years and I know that it has shortcomings in terms of the dry fire trigger pressure and the trigger pressure with air in it.
As dry firing will be a big part of serious competition practice you will never quite get the hang of it. So shoot the Feinwerkbau and if you are going to shoot for a while, then upgrade to the best possible option.
