The Sage 2 is awsome. Such clean lines. Would love to have one like that. The Endura 4 still rocks and never leaves my side. Nice to see all your stuff. I believe one can get the Sage 2 with carbon fiber handles too.

The lines are a S30V steel property - have seen those on most knives having S30V. Yes, the Sage can be had in CF scales and it costs half that of the Ti Sage (Sage 2). The CF version has Walker liner-lock, while this Ti one has frame-lock.

bro size of the bayonet matters..it would be the same issue as the blade length

Sir, i don't think so. as the bayonet in question is an accesory for an assault rifle, would it be legal to keep one? what if someone questions the source of the bayonet? example. it is alright to keep a 7.62mm Pistol/revolver but not an assault rifle of the same calibre!

Dear sir,Echofighter,
As as my knowledge is concern about the bayonet it is more that that of 9inch so you may need to have some kind of legal proceeding for that.

To my info, bayonets are specifically mentioned in the Arms Act and require a license...

Gentlemen, following is my opinion:

Chapter II of Arms Act 1959 is talking about "Acquisition, Possession, Manufacture, Sale, Import, Export & Transport of Arms and Ammunition"

Section 3 in it is talking about "Licence for acquisition and possession of firearms and ammunition"

Section 4 in it is talking about "Licence for acquisition and possession of arms of specified description in certain cases"

If you read Section 4 it becomes clear that if Central Government wants to regulate possession or carrying of arms other than firearms it can issue a notification in the Official Gazette so that no person shall acquire, have in his possession or carry in that area arms of such class or description unless unless he holds in this behalf a licence issued in accordance with the provisions of this Act and the rules made there under.

Reference: http://www.abhijeetsingh.com/arms/india ... r_1_2.html

So the main question is: Is there any Notification issued under Section 4 by Central Government in force in your area regulating arms other than firearms(bayonets etc. etc.)? If there is no such notification in force in your area then nothing much to worry since arms are a Fundamental Right under Articles 19 and 21 of Constitution of India.

Am sharing pictures of my knives. I hope you like them

1. The SOG Trident & American Lawman are my preferred carry tactical folders.

2. The J Marttiini Fillet knife is an old favourite. It has a silk edge, strong and is an extremely flexible knife. The sheath is slowly dying on me, inspite of care. If it had a guard, it would have doubled as a tactical blade. However it is now used only for delicate work.

3. The Aitor Jungle King 1 has been featured before on a separate link. This is my fondling knife. As Bruno concurs, it is an awesome knife and awesomely impractical. But I love it.

4. The cheap chinese multi tool has served me well. The Zilla is great for work and the Leatherman Surge is my companion for camping

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/_PJy8 ... 0Surge.jpg

5. My old khukri and this is my favourite camping companion. You can see the hard use it has gone through and it still retains a sweet edge and incredible heft.

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_PJy8 ... Khukri.jpg

6. The CRKT Koji Hara Ichi. I just love this delightful assisted opening folder.

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/_PJy8 ... 20Ichi.jpg

7. The Muela Military Tactical. Great blade for the money. Have taken it camping and it serves me well

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_PJy8 ... ctical.jpg

8. Folding knives from the North East. These are very popular all over Shillong and the local survival knife. Please note the elegant lines and simple design

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/_PJy8 ... licers.jpg

9. The Recon Tanto. My go to knife in case I ever need to use a tactical blade for defence.

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_PJy8 ... 0Tanto.jpg

10. This is a really old fighting knife that was given to me by one of my army buddies who served in the North East in the early 90's. Seen lots of use and still sharp. The blueing is gone though.

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_PJy8 ... 0knife.jpg

11. The Victorinox Trekker & The Victorinox German Military knife. The one hand opening German Military knife is my current EDC. Love the olive colour and the serrated edge.

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_PJy8 ... ary%20.jpg

12. The Victorinox Nomad is my earlier EDC. So light and has all the functions that one needs with a large blade that locks.
