Indian police/court/detective television shows

Indian police/court/detective television shows

Post by TRX » Thu May 19, 2011 3:54 pm

I'm in the USA. My wife is addicted to police and court television shows. I've managed to find her some programs she liked - "A Touch of Frost" and "Judge John Deed" from England, "McCallum" and "Taggart" from Scotland, a few episodes of "Single Handed" from Ireland, "City Homicide" and (inexplicably) "Sea Patrol" from Australia.

I've been told there's some English-language broadcasting in India. Are there any Indian-made shows in English in that genre?

No, there are no Indian made shows in English, mostly they are American or European (British), like CSI, Judge John Deed, Shark, Monk, etc

CID ... :)

India having a state or central CID of the plasticky type portrayed in the serial would be as unlikely as having a Rastafarian king of England... :)
