Post by jonahpach » Tue May 17, 2011 10:54 pm

hello guys, I have a relative visiting netherlands this week and I was wondering what kind of knives they have there.. any good knive makers in the Netherlands?? I am thinking in the line of Nepal = Khukri, France = Opinel, USA = Bowie etc.. Also what about availability of airguns and firearms accessories in the Netherlands??

Thanks

you can get any knife there

biggest importer
http://www.adola.nl/adola/index.htm

check out for Dutch commando knife on
http://www.hillknives.com/HillWebsite/index.htm --- in Rotterdam

also tell them to ask for "The Old man" shop, it is good place to buy knives and they can find it in many cities http://www.theoldman.nl/

when buy, ask for gift packing and never carry any knife, when going in to center of city or visiting shopping malls.

AB,

The Hill, 'had one'? Has he gifted it too?

one of his friends who had come from europe for exercises here had given it to him.
he managed to break around 10 years later in field and had to discard it.
