Hi Oleg,
Some great snaps. At what age was she introduced to firearms? She handles them better than some of the blow hard SWAT wannabes at our local range. And a cocked and locked 1911, great taste too.
Cheers

xl_target can answer that better.

Her pistol isn't a typical 1911, it's a Coonan 357 Magnum pistol.

Sorry XL  Read about the Coonan 357 mag in one of the newer issues of Shotgun News. A classic pistol and great caliber.

KS,
She fired he first handgun at age five but didn't seem to interested so I didn't push it. It wasn't till her first year in college that she got interested in shooting and then I was glad to oblige. She is going to graduate next semester so she has been shooting rgularly for about four years.
More photos on Oleg's Blog.

The Coonan .357 is an amazing pistol. Very manageable recoil for a .357 and very accurate. it's like shooting a laser (at least at 25 yards).
Through Oleg, I also got to meet Dan Coonan. Very nice guy!
My daughter was thrilled because he went to the same college that she is attending.

One thing I noticed, other than the fact that she is so photogenic, and a great model for our sport....she shows proper gun handling, no finger on the trigger unless she is in a shot where she is shooting the gun. Good training there dad! XL, also please note that I am "shooterz", not to be confused with another gent that graces this forum known as "shooter". Thanks, Troy

Thanks for the compliment, sir.

I can't take any credit for the photography. That is all Oleg.
Actually, shooterz, I think you might like "Shooter". He is quite the sporting gentleman and I do mean gentleman.
