how to get additional weopan in exsisting license

Friends ,
I have a revolver's license issued in mumbai wayback in 1997.issued for protection.
I am a member of maharastra rifle assocition , won few awards in air rifle shooting during my school time some 20 years back.
I want to apply for addition in my license for rifle.
how should I go about it,, what is the procedure & how much time it may take.
Also what remedies do I have in case my application is rejected.

Apply for additional firearm by following the procedures in the office of licensing authourity. You do not have to disclose some "special" reason for second or third license. You can give the same reason of self defense which you gave in your first firearm license.

Do not let the matters slip to the extent of rejection. Politely make them read this http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php ... 89#p113930 If it still gets rejected then there is option of going for appeal and option of going to High Court is also there.
