Nickel plated version - Yes I guess so, quite a few gunsmiths in the UK claim to do astonishing things to the HW Air Rifles, Nickel, modified stock, supertuned spring ( whatever it means ) supply their own brand / type of pellets and their own version of scope, mount / rings, Lamping attachment, battery or charging spotlight etc.

Cheers!
A practical comparison would be between Diana and Gamo.

To compare an HW you need an Air Arms; at the very least.

If not convinced, try asking this question in airgunbbs.com

Sujay,

Only shot one Gamo and I personally feel the difference between the Diana and Gamo is far more than is the difference between a top-end Diana and a top-end Weihrauch.

A Gamo would compare well with a Mid range Diana / BSA, some other UK / Europe break barrel Air Rifles, there's a UK dealer Edgar Brothers who gets some under his own private label but sells a lot of them in England, somewhat there.

At the top end of the Break Barrel market it would be Diana upper end or RWS / Diana and HW only.

Gamo do have some good Air Rifles although , GAMO hunter which delivers 1250 fps in .177, but I am not sure what happens to the pellet once its gets sub sonic again at 1080 fps, say at 15 yards. Perhaps it gets sub sonic at 8 or 9 yards and then it would really stray in any direction.

Gamo 880, 440 and 220 cadet are fairly good and accurate Air Rifles. Plenty available in Dubai, a very beautuful GAMO is the full stocked Stutzen, it's got a Mannlicker like stock.

........

Shahid the gamo stutzen pales in comparison to the BSA Stutzen-which sadly has been discontinued!I picked up the BSA model about 6 years ago from Captains Store in Diera.Btw there is a store in Bombay by the name of Bansons at Crawford market and he has a similar bsa stutzen for sale in .22 caliber! The condition is not too good at least the stock is scratched in various places and he has a scope mounted on it!

And to buy anyone of rifles you mentioned you need one small thing called "Arms license" :D
