acknowledgments
Hi all,
Kindly excuse this public display on my part for an inconsequential scholastic exercise. It's just that it gives me an opportunity to thank all who made life a bit more pleasant.
Exactly a year ago, I came to UK to do my MA in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management at University of Warwick. Thanks to all of your best wishes, I turned in my dissertation in time that effectively concludes my education here. Though, I had to complete writing it under a lot of time constraints, my tutor says that I could have done a lot worse. LOL.
Many friends here cheered me up on a lot of occasions and IFG is a place where I spent a lot of time, more so during the past one month as I have been locked up in my room busy reading and writing. And I only thought it is appropriate to thank IFG and my friends here.I also wrote about my friends on shotgunworld.
Thanks all for the support. Mehul's mails always encouraged me and he always had a kind word to spare. When I have been locked up in my room, Grumpy's mails early in the morning (yes he,too, for sometime became a nightbird), used to perk up.
Not meant to be drippy, but this is how I felt when I wrote them. Now, if the examiner is gong to have a heart attack at finding shotguns on a dissertation on Human Resources Management, I can?t care less. Thanks all of you once again.
Best as ever-
Vikram.

Re: acknowledgments
Vikram,
You're being too generous - one of the pleasures that I enjoyed through a particularly difficult illness was corresponding with you. And yes, we are waiting for your visit to the US whenever you find time.
It is a good thing that you have completed your dissertation and you should probably be waiting for a viva now? Congratulations on completing it and take time off to relax a little. My wife compares IFG to Hotel California - you can check out any time you like but you can never leave.
Take care and do post often,
Mehul

Read from Grumpy's post that you raced against time during the last two days
PS : Mehul was heard telling that you are getting another ' dissertation ' ready ; of a different variety

Re: acknowledgments
Congratulations on successfully completing your dissertation Vikram. I hope that all goes well.
Looking forward to meeting you in December when you come down for a visit. My wife asked what you were like - `anything like Mehul ?` Had to say that I didn`t really know but that you were Indian, completing a Masters Degree and a gun buff. `Oh, quite a lot like Mehul then`. That`s complimentary by the way - she really likes Mehul and Prithee.

Congratulations Vikram and best wishes for the future.
