blue is good for the sea and the sky, hard to find one wearing blue in the sea and the sky thus makes a perfect camo 8)

I fired it a couple of times -courtesy a friendly cop.

Ever seen the injury it causes, when indiscipline cops fires at point blank and getting away with it. Leaving the victim with smashed bone and tissues ankle joint.

Yup, after 18 yrs as an ER type, my work profile includes trying to convince a Rwandan mum her infant of 'several pieces' cannot be revived, having an SLR thrust into my throat by drunken cops looting corpses in Latur area after the earthquake, and a few such mundane exercises, I am still hopefully sane and not on Thorazine.
Yup, I have seen rubber bullet injuries, including a direct hit to the torso, giving me a 'personal best' of 19 min for a splenectomy.
I have also had indisciplined (read drunk) cops fall off their mobiles on night patrol and have an AD in the thigh with a 9mil, pleading that they were ambushed by a gang and shot
Yes, i can can read the difference between contact and non contact wounds and more such crap.
oh yes,I had to leave out several paragraphs of such ad nauseum, on popular request

PS:that drunk cop? his pistol was traced in jhumritalyya, about 100km away...
next question?
was this post about ID 'ing that weapon or the wounds caused by it? :stupid:

@ Naga
Thats RAF's Urban camo, mate. Rapid Action Force

like i said in the sky and the sea they can not be seen, in urban they stand out like sore thumb,

having sturdy camo in my young school days, i was all was told to blend in. so blue is very urban or the guy who thought of it must be color blind.

i perfer gray myself for urban, pinstrip with an umbrella and a trollby hat.

did you say rapid or rabid?

The barrel length restrictions are only for the smooth bore !!
only here you can see such contraptions.
And what reservations do you have with this kind of a firearm ?

best,

It's always better to have a gun and not need it than need a gun and not have it !

trying to convey that giving THIS firearm to the unruly cops may be counter productive.

lol Maybe they are colorblind :D I wonder what will happen if they gets into a real fight. Can a rubber bullet kill a human sized target at medium range?
When I'll get to shoot a gun?

Join a bunch of cops facing an unruly mob, before the lathi charge starts, as the stones and lately, molotovs go off? downright scary.
Like my old aunt telling me all about shooting 'wrongdoers' below the knees... so I actually took her to the range and gave her several loaded guns and asked her to shoot several varities of' fig 11 targets masquerading as wrongdoers , in the knees.
Damned if she could.
Quad erat demonstrandum.
mob+ adrenaline+ poor training= normal indian riot
Else; they'd be Gunga Din

That blue, "urban" camouflage has an interesting history. Traditionally the US Air Force, in order to distinguish itself by uniform from the US Army, chooses a different color uniform. That choice is up to to the air force chief. So, when the army, finally, switched to camouflage for the "fatigue" uniform, the air force decided to follow. The air force color is traditionally blue, and this chief (who must have fancied himself to be a bit of a fashion designer) came up with the blue camo. Along with a dress uniform for officers that made them look like waiters at a fancy restaurant. There was too much opposition to the blue camouflage, and it never become official. However, it became trendy, and the other "men in blue" also adopted it in some places. Luckily for the Air Force, that chief retired soon after, and his choices were reversed.
