Great professionalism shown by IHP!

Hi A_N using powertool cutter would be the best option to cut coil. Gas cutting is not recommended as this will impact the tempering.

Good Luck!

Why don't you try IZH 53 spring. Both gun looks to be equal in size.

-Suffix
Suffix, not that I am an expert on AP/ AR internals, but I feel better way to check out compatibility would be comparing Internal/ Outer Diameter, Length and Number of Coils of the springs of both the pistols. I found this spring that you mentioned on Target Tune site - *NO* info on compatibility with IHP .22 AP. So why take needless risk on wasting extra 1000 bucks ? :)

ebenezer,
cutting the spring and flattening the end accurately is a simple process. let me know what length you want to remove and i will direct you to the right machine shop.

Hi Marthandan,

I need to cut just three to four coils in the existing spring. May I know where you are put up?

Ebenezer,
you can cut the spring yourself, all you need is a jewelers file (not the very small one but a little larger).

Hello everyone,

A very nice forum. Very active also.

I purchased an IHP air gun today. Having read a lot of threads on the forum here, I chose the national 25 .177 model and further chose to get it from 'Aimpoint' in pune.

No wonder I was excited to reach home and give it a try. I tried from 5mtr range to approx 8mtrs and sadly could not get the desired results.

1. I am not sure if I got the rear sight settings correct. Can anyone tell me the theory behind the 3 levers here?
2. I shot in groups of 4 and 5. While all the shots were close to each other (max distance between any 2 holes in a group being approx 1 inch, from both 5m and 8m distance), however, the shots were about 2-4 inches below where I aimed. I think the problem is with my open sight but I am not sure. I am very eagerly looking forward to suggestions here.

-Mayank.

An awesome job, i must say. The scopes that have been fitted- are they delivered at your doorstep? i dont have any experience at all with ebay. The rifles are looking excellent. Thank you Sir for excellent detailed info.

Last month i bought an ihp 25 national air gun , springer. .177

i hv shot about 500 pellets and after that it is giving sm trouble.
when i try to cock it and bring down the barrel. it doesn't stop , it comes back and after 3-4 tries it stops the trigger.
sm times it shoots the pellet before i even take aim. without even touching the trigger.

sud i take it back to the gun dealer where i bought it????

i don't undstand.

echofighter,

Just a time pass project, what I call a 'productive spare time activity' Basically I did not like the looks of the factory rifles, so I decided to do something about it. I had the scopes with me for quite some time. The rails were sourced from member mdhasan. The rest of it was done by me and a friend. Doing up springers is no problem. Just an understanding of the dynamics of the weapon. Am doing an AirMaster currently.

englishtown,

Seems you got a problem with the chisel stop. Have it checked out.
