Re: .22 IOF IN THE PROCESS OF UPGRADING
Can you detail what all has been done to the innards (bedding /free floating/ trigger tweaking/sights etc)
Thanks
Thanks

Mandeep,
The mounts and scope seem to be overkill for this kind of rifle. What optics are you using? Are the mounts machined or bought off the rack (difficult because its a 16mm dovetail)? I don't suppose any changes could have been made to the bolt, receiver and feed mechanism?
Sorry, the IOF does come with 11mm rails not 16mm.

Re: .22 IOF IN THE PROCESS OF UPGRADING
I was under the impression that the IOF.22 had a 11mm, standard dovetail, which needed high mounts to prevent the bolt striking the eyepiece. Is this a new variant? Also, the scope seems to have a sunshade fitted. Maybe that's what makes it seem larger than it isKatana wrote: The mounts and scope seem to be overkill for this kind of rifle. I have a similar .22 IOF & bought Bushnell 3-9 * 32mm scope meant for 0.22 only , the mounts come along , fit well & do not require any milling or technical adjustments. They are worth as their zoom is also powerful enough

you are using high mounts which should work well.mandeep.khera wrote:sir the bolt fits pretty well smoothly mounts dont get in the way
i agree, as the standard 11mm dovetail does it's job with many scopes and mountsGGDDN wrote:I have a similar .22 IOF & bought Bushnell 3-9 * 32mm scope meant for 0.22 only , the mounts come along , fit well & do not require any milling or technical adjustments. It is bad manners to hijack Mandeep's thread to flog your own gun. If you want us to look at it, take the trouble to start your own thread and post pictures like he has
