hi Jayraar,
IHP mod 35 being the best indian made air rifle , if well tuned is good for a maximum range of 35mts. about the rest i cannot say but i think they are inferior to IHP,

The early bird gets the worm, but the fact is, if the worm had woken up late, it would still be alive.

dear jayraar,
as the article given by Big daddy says, air gunning is not about range and power but about accuracy. if an air gun pellet travels faster than 1200 fps it has to break the sound barrier and looses its accuracy in the process since an air gun pellet is not made for supersonic speeds. this is why air gun competitions are held at 10 meters.

Jayraar: First you would have to define what you mean by "effective range" of an air rifle.

The so called effective range for IHP and M300 is almost same. IHP is a break barrel type and the M300 is an Under lever rifle. M300 weighs little more than the IHP. The finish and the looks are better then IHP . The wood looks good. The only negative is the sights on the M300. Apart from that M300 is nothing less than IHP.
