Dear all
.
I understand that a Shooting Club membership is a MANDATORY requirement when importing a 0.177" airgun via courier/post. I also see that a lot of you guys get your toys this way. What I wan't to know is, how did you secure that membership? I am from Bangalore and I understand that KSRA is the only such Rifle Association around. Also, the procedure for membership is not easy; attend "Civilian Courses" for some weeks, clear it, and then they decide if membership should be granted or not !!? As expected this is plainly bureaucratic. So ... do you all go through all this, or am I missing something here?

Re: Rifle Club Membership; Bangalore
Tarat,
The procedure is well laid out. Not at all complicated. Time consuming, yes . Drop into the KSRA office, pick up an application and enrol. I too am a member and did not find it difficult in anyway. KSRA membership fee is very very reasonable when compared to other clubs.
