Which scope wold you rate your favorite for typical Indian conditions for air rifles (both springer and PCP)? Scopes like Nikon are perhaps among the best but would you use it in a rough and rugged way? Your inputs would be ideal day to day scope use and based on piratical experience. My apologies if there is already a thread on this.
To start with, i have an AGS 3-9 X 50. I really love this scope and it is built from aircraft grade aluminum, a bit heavy i must admit.
It is very clear even in minimal lighting.
I also have a basic Hawke scope which i really would not buy again if i had the opportunity to.
Your feed gents....

Re: Which scope would you rate your favourite.
Of all the scopes i came across i love Leupold's FX-II 4x33 size scope. One of my friend has this scope .It has a fixed magnification and works well in low light conditions.. I prefer a fixed magnification scope so that there will be no chance it can be left on high power when a close-up shot quickly presents itself. Since it have less moving parts it is not easily knocked out of alignment during rough use as you said in Indian conditions.
