Guess who makes OFB's Barrells?? Or maybe even those highly acclaimed Lothar Walther Barrells?

No, They are solely made in Cossipore Gun Shell Factory, at least that what I saw 5 years back, Not sure about present scenerio, but cossipore had a full unit imported from germany for ashani barrel manufacturing using hammer forged process.

Anyways they only manufacture the rifled blanks. The barrels are heat treated by OFB and proofed in their own 'state of the art' proof houses.. So that's their problem. Also this company seems to be relatively new.

Are the blanks rifled or just drilled and reamed for rifling that is done in house by the chaps at the IOF?

i have personally seen the barrels manufacturing in RFI the rods are imported from czec republic. and cold bored in RFI. ( 2 years ago).
