Guess its got to something to be with using your debit/ credit cards.

they did not give you coupon for same amount to put that amount on your mobile, but just distributing free promotional coupons of different brands.

Yes, these are just promotional coupons to be adjusted against your spends at the mentioned outlets. You get these all the time without even spending, along with your card statements etc.

Yes ! If you recharge for 200 INR then they give 200 INR worth coupons of Mcdonald's or Pizza hut Imax etc..
