quality comparable to IHP mostly in looks or in the outside, you should put this for feedback of owners of these brands. you should always think about the reason why people go for IHP, the products of IHP were customised by people and the best fixes or customisations already exist, and that too with multiple choice.. eg, springs, washers, washer adapter, etc..

He offered to make a best custom assembled (refurbished) model for around 3k as per my specs.
there are 2 dealers in this region, one is above Sreeraj Lassi bar (products available here are cool :D ) and the workshop/dealer would be the one before CSI Hospial road, right before the colony. the custom stock option sounds good.

dont use them on your airgun, not a great product. much like a cap shot, and fits into the barrel of some airguns like Phorgun have a muzzle break which can accomodate this cork like cap...gives a flash and some sound, zero practical usage. the moving pellet fires the cap, this means the pellet is no more in path to target.. so you have a dirty barrel, noise and no pellet to target..

Boy ! Thomas, you know your stuff well ! Yes, as you said they are the Shivajinagar shops i visited.

With all due respect to IHP and its loyalists, i find the cork ideal (crackers apart) for shoo'ing away crows and monkeys in the corn fields. I was very impressed with the amount of noise (and a light fire spark), when a dealer test fired a cork in one of the local rifle brands that had special long perforated nozzle at the barrel tip (donno what its called, one assistant called it a silencer, another called it a noise Booster  ).

May be, i should consider a less expensive rifle (may be Aimco m200 or a cheap refurbished) separately for cork usage; and keep my M300 clean.

none of us know what it is called or why it is there, :D honestly. but yeah this one use does exist, the cap can be fit in this chamber, nice and snug, it will not fall off..
But then sooner or later you will realise that it is not easy to clean the front of a barrel with perforation and small cuts (God knows why its a part of design).. and a bit more later, like in laaaaateerrr.........., you will take a handsaw and cut this part off (like I did), and feel happy about the new looks!!!

I got my M300 delivered today and its finish is far better than most models in Bangalore shops (except for a Diana 35 model at the Asian Armoury). He was quoting 48k. The nozzle adds to the looks, i'd leave it as it is and rather pick an IHP model if i still need one with out a nozzle. That's laaaaaateerr :)

Aimco included a 100's pack of Master Shot pointed pellets (and not their own brand) in the package. May be its struck to them after all, they only make good rifles and that they leave the pellets to the others !

Tried plinking for the last 30 - 45 minutes. Took atleast 20 shots for me to get a hang (still need to master the zeroing). The box of Master Shot pointed he included had a lot of defects (10-15% of pellets were out of shapes). Ones i picked MS export Rounds were better off. Its a nice rifle indeed !
