Naren, a riflescope or any other optical sight for a firearm can only be brought back as part of one's baggage. Importing it via the post or courier route will result in the scope being confiscated. I do know of one person who bought two scopes off ebay, at seperate intervals. He managed to get the scopes but this was the exception rather than the rule and both times, he had to travel to Bombay to clear them from customs.axp817";p="34302 wrote:My dad took a Leupold (not the Rifleman or the VX-I) to India last week, advantage of having someone bring it, instead of having it shipped is you might save on customs duties.
