Re: Airgun import experiences - via post/ courier route
Spoke to Dushyant at FEDEX clearing team at delhi and was surprised to hear his version of what prospoects are there for a airgun reimport-as per him for the next airgun one has to seek approval from the affiliated rifle club and then take final approval from DGFT-is this true or is it that he has no idea-but the latter may not be true considering that he is part of the fedex clearing team.comments please( incidentally i am back with the MARAUDER .177-this one is a sueprtuned airrifle with a lothar barrel ).

Condition is that you must have a valid membership card of a shooting range
Hi I had imported a 2 piece of air rifle of .177 make is gamo hunter extreme & another gamo big cat which I had booked on line at http://www.pyramydair.com I had chosen a wire transfer mood for payment and after 1 day they will mail you and asked you for the conformation after replying for the conformation you will get the wire transfer code and then take a print of that details go to your local bank and asked for the wire transfer and fill all the details after that bank will transfer the amounts after 2 to 3 days you will get the mail that they had received the amount and they will courier you stuff with this mail they will give you the link of the courier company with all the courier details their you will see the details of your courier and mail to the pyramydair and ask them to mail the invoice copy to mail and mean while you have to collect all the details
• 1) Commercial Invoice ( they will mail you after the wire transferred)
• 2) Copy of Registration Certificate with Rifle Clubs or District / State / National Riffles Association
• 3) Bank Remittance Copy / Internet value / manufacturer’s pricelist and catalogue/ Purchase Receipt - value supporting documents for the declared invoice value of the shipment
• 4) Technical write-up / End-use letter- brief synopsis of the contents with reason of import
• 5) Please mentioned HS Code or any duty exemption benefit available for same
If you have all the above mention documents your stuff will come like a maska without any trouble with in a 7 to 10 days in metro city and 20 to 30 days in any other part of the India
This is the producer I had followed and got my stuff delivered in Mumbai.

Shiv@ Good show and nice Pistol.
I guess in the recent times you are the lucky one to get the pellets cleared
Its time you start practising with the choice of pellets that you imported.

I dont think any of the forumites would import any pellets once you see the Mastershot pellets.
In terms of quality and performance, it is comparable with any international brand. Cost is still Indian (affordable).

Re: Airgun import experiences - via post/ courier route
If you have the USPS tracking number then call up the FPO at Delhi. They will let you know the status. It is Holiday time and USPS is down with lot of parcels to send all over, domestic and international. Even FPO is busy which is anyways slow. They will let you know the status if you give them the tracking.
