AiR-15 ® Rifle

By Creedmoor ® Sports

Get the legendary world-class one-hole performance of an Anschutz ® rifle with the look and feel of an actual M16A2.
The AiR-15 Rifle was introduced in conjunction with the Civilian Marksmanship Program’s (CMP) National Match Air Rifle (NMAR) discipline.

At the heart of the AiR-15 is one the world’s best air rifle barreled actions, the German made Anschutz 8001 with the 5065 trigger. Surrounding the action is a 100% American Made stock. The receiver sleeve, front sight housing, carry handle, and handguard are all machined out of solid aluminum; the magazine is machined from solid Delrin ®. The remaining components, such as the butt stock, pistol grip, sling swivels, front sight post, and rear sight are genuine Bushmaster ® parts.

- The AiR-15 Rifle perfectly replicates the M16A2’s:
· Length of pull.
· Sight radius.
· Height of rear sight from the comb of the stock.
· Distance from the butt stock to the rear sight.
· Distance from the butt stock to the front sling swivel.
· Magazine dimensions 20 rd.
· Height of the front sight.

The rear sight has ¼ min elevation and windage adjustments, and has an adjustment range that allows for points of aim ranging from sub-six to twelve o’clock. The front sight post adjusts the same as the M16A2 and gives the shooter the ability to make major elevation changes using the front sight.

The AiR-15 Rifle uses compressed air and gives you up to 120 shots per refill. The removable cylinder may be filled with either a hand pump, air compressor or standard scuba tank.

Available with either a simulated 20 or 30 round magazine. (Magazines are non-functioning, used for appearance and to allow shooter to replicate normal high power shooting positions. The AiR-15 Rifle is a single shot rifle only)

The AiR-15 Rifle purchased together with the patented Creedmoor Portable Air Gun Range, the only air gun range tested and approved by the U.S. Military, provides you with the ultimate training device. For clubs wishing to create and begin NMAR leagues this is a must have combination.

Perfect for holding indoor rifle competitions in any open spaces large enough to accommodate a 33 ft range. It is also the perfect tool for introducing new people to high power competitions, or for training high masters to win the national championships.

The first 250 rifles sold will be Gary Anderson Signature Limited Edition rifles.

The stock kit may also be purchased separately for those wishing to convert their existing 8001 or 8002 Anschutz ® rifles into an AiR-15 Rifle. The conversion is simple and takes only minutes to install; however, a qualified gunsmith will need to convert the trigger to the required 3 lbs.

AiR-15 Specs:
- Length: 38.31” (97.31 cm)
- Wt: 9.4 lbs. (4.26 kg)
- Action: Anschutz ® 8001
- Trigger: 5065 (3 lb. trigger pull)
- Propulsion: Compressed Air cylinder (200 bar or 2,931 psi max pressure)
- Velocity 575 FPS(Feet Per Second)

An optional 7.25" entry level butt stock that is 3.25" shorter than the regular butt stock can also be purchased.

Admin, Mods,

We do have a case for a reviews thread here.

Subal, the Air-15 is an Anschutz PCP Match gun action packaged in an AR-15 shell, if you may. Fancy but expensive toy from the Indian context. Just my opinion.

If all the reviews are condensed in one topic, then it would again be difficult for members to search for the review of a particular gun..

So why not have a separate section or main heading for Reviews alone just like we have for rifles, airguns, legal eagle and the likes..

replacement for LG300XT line, main difference is new regulator, which gives very smooth pellets release and 600 shots per fill. First this regulator was introduced on LG300XT Alutec, now new era LG4. I heard Gagan Narang already imported one.

why can't we have a different section only for air gun review or have a sticky thread in the air gun section.
i would love to see a different section altogether where airguns and firearms both are reviewed this would help anyone who wants to buy a specific air gun or firearms.

Compact Match Air Pistols

Post by Subal das » Sun Oct 17, 2010 9:47 am

Why compact?

advantage of compact version is reduced weight and the distance between the rear and front sight is shorter by about 50 mm compared to the standard models and shows more stable sight picture in relationship to the target. More stable sight picture will increase confidence in young and old alike and allow them to concentrate on trigger release.

LP400 Carbon Compact right, MEMORY 3D-grip

Walther was not doing well with air pistols in recent years. Steyr position very strong and get even better with new Steyr pistol with electronic trigger. Plus Morini and Pardini. No wounder with some many fine pistols LP300XT was not so popular and got a reputation as pistol with tight trigger. But things may change with new LP400, no electronic trigger, but new trigger mechanism, again trigger pull the same - 500g. much lighter weight 850g compare to 1018g of PL300xt.

FX Gladiator Tactical

Post by Subal das » Sun Oct 31, 2010 9:05 am

Image

two bottles more shots, 200 shots at lower power settings 14 ft/lbs

more bottles not always better, Walther dominator LG300 with one bottle delivers 300 shots at lower power settings 21ft/lb

Walther dominator LG300 - more power | more shots | less bottles
The Gladiator Tactical is yet another FX rifle that showcases the innovative nature of the company. The FX Gladiator utilizes dual air cylinders to deliver nearly 100 shots at full power. The action shares many of the features of the other fine rifles in the FX range. Some of these features are an extremely quiet, moderated match-grade barrel, three-step power adjuster, built-in pressure gauge, self-closing biathlon bolt, and a two-stage adjustable match-grade trigger. The rear bottle is covered by a synthetic stock that sports a raised ambidextrous cheek piece for proper head alignment when using a scope either right or left handed. The dual air cylinders properly balance the rifle while their aluminum construction reduces unnecessary weight. To top it off, FX utilized the same match grade barrel that has gained praise and recognition for providing extreme accuracy with a variety of pellets. The power adjuster allows for shooting at full power, which is 34 ft/lbs, or the shooter can easily adjust the rifle down to 24 ft/lbs at medium power or 14 ft/lbs at the low power setting. At low power, the Gladiator delivers nearly 200 shots! This feature allows for a multitude of practical uses ranging from quiet backyard or basement target practice all the way to long-range varmint hunting with the slide of a lever. Included with the Gladiator Tactical are two 8-shot magazines for convenient use in the field. The FX Gladiator Tactical is another great rifle from the Swedish company that builds rifles with the shooter in mind!

Subhai, thanks for the effort.

I just wondered if you want to change the title to airguns "info" or something similar, since a review would usually show us the pros and cons, by someone who has actually shot these guns. In fact, this might be a call for all of us to post proper reviews of the guns we own (not just the look-at-me-i-have-a-pcp sort we often come across). Just my two cents

I'm searching and reading about different air rifles on Internet and for me personally it is better to have all that info about rifles, which I like, in one place. I do not care much about titles and what kind of impression it may have. It is relevant and do not violate any one rights.

Same time if it is useful for me, it may be useful for others too.

cheers

Gladiator has 3 stage power setting the most powerful stage delivers 34ftpound, hence gladiator has more power than LG 300. Prety accurate too.
