Re: IHP and 4x20 scope
Hi Siddik,
Open sights are the sights which are already there on your air rifle. The one on the forend of the barrel is the foresight and the V-shaped one on the end of the barrel is the rear sight. The IHP doesn't come with a scope rail and therefore, you have to get one fixed and then you can mount the scope on it. There are a couple of scope rails available here. Just check the sale section. For more information check the thread on airguns. Regarding accuracy, it depends on your purpose. If you want to take up air rifle shooting as a sport, forget the scope and practise with open sights. If it is just backyard plinking and pest control you can use a scope, but try to get a scope with better magnification like the 4x32 or above.
Regards,
Ebenezer

Madhur,
Check with Oriental Arms, M-block (opposite Fire Station), Outer Circle, Connaught Place. He has a gunsmith who comes every Saturday, if I recollect correctly. Please note, I don't know about the quality of work done. That you'll have to check yourself.
I'll pm you their contact details.

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.
