Tariquebilal

Please use the search function to look for threads on IHP Compressed Air rifles/pistols... IT will throw up all relevant information including contact numbers. Alternatively please contact the factory directly - they will give you the necessary information.

I happen to come across the site of national air arms, calicut, who promises us of his air rifles capable of giving perfect shot at the range of 100-120 mtres. The prices of the product also gives me bit embarrassing. Some of the pictures of the air rifles uploaded are ditto of IHP products. I am confused, whether they are the dealer of IHP or manufacturer. can any body comment on this.
Yes, they are saying that they can provide the shot up to accuracy of 100-120m they are at calicut I have gone through their website but I am ignorant about the rates but I can assure you this much that they are not IHP products they are copying the design from other imported rifles, this I can say because I am a design engineer and have 8 yrs experience in product designing especially white goods and auto parts. They might have copied some models of IHP also.

If have a close look on the picture they have provided on their website then you can know that they have copied the models of foreign origin.

Now about the range,
If they are saying they can provide a shot of accurately up to 100m then its good but if they can provide this in 0.177 caliber then I am interested to buy.

In their web site they have not mentioned the models for 0.177 caliber

It may also so happen that they may be the dealer of air arms for IHP and also manufacturing some models of air rifles.
may be in 0.177 and 0.22 caliber air rifles
I mean they may be local manufacturer. Many of local manufacturer are there in Calcutta and some are also in Punjab specially in Ludhiana and Jallandhar city and also in Kanpur.

Dear sir,
Do you think that both the barrels of 0.22caliber and 0.177caliber are having the same dia as you have said it to be 15mm,
because IHP M-35 is available in both the caliber?

for both the Cal O.d. is same.

in fact .22 is little bit lighter (in weight) than .177

Dear Mr. Acharya

As far my knowledge is concern within this short span of joining this forum I think if you go for any shooting competition of 10m distance generally it is done with 0.177 caliber in this competition I hope scopes are not allowed in this case they allow only the peep sight type or open type air rifle.

I have talked to some body in Noida that gun house told me they can fit the scope on your gun along with the rail but being a manufacturing personnel, personally speaking it depends on the hand of the gunsmith working there that how accurately he can fit your gun with a scope.

there are many kind of scope available in the market
which ranges from 3000INR - 12000INR (this I have seen)
and there are scopes which allows you can see in fog also.
