Full length barrels or carbines

Post by Prabhath » Sun Aug 29, 2010 12:40 pm

Members,

Needed some info..........Which is better........airguns with their full length barrels or their carbine versions? To be specific, talking about TX200 and TX200HC. What kind of mounts would be best suited for this airgun? Lastly, are Maccari DIY kits better or the Venom kits?

Mack The Knife please shed some light on this.

Thats because I was away from a computer connected to the internet

At what max range do you want to shoot the TX200 or HC. Please remember 55 yds is the max range for Field Target matches where the TX and HW are supreme in recoiling class category.

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

In Springers, a shorter barrel gives more power. After roughly 12-15 inches of barrel length, the remaining just slows the pellets down. However, the TX200 HC needs more cocking effort.
