Re: aimco 300 vs canon 65 .22
dear faiyzan
May i know why you're preferring underlever to breakbarrel? we cant compare underlever and breakbarrel type..each has its own adavantages and disadvantages. Regarding Aimco M300 and cannon65 by comparing with IHP35 i can conclude as..
> It is a under lever rifle
>Since the barrel is fixed and there is more accuracy compared to the break barrel rifles
>If you compare with IHP35,it has more power than it.
>The stock is very good and with matt finish.
>It weighs more than the IHP rifle
>the cocking is very hard
regarding cannon65
>it is better than IHP35
>The stock quality has gone down now
>It can perfrom better than many many indian made rifles if tuned properly
>ALL YOU HAVE TO DO FOR ANY GUN IS TO GET TUNED IT WITH AN EXPERT AND MAKE THE GUN TO SHOOT AT WHAT YOU AIM AND LISTEN TO YOU!
If u need an underlever go for M300.if you opt for breakbarrel go for cannon
Finally its upto you to decide....
Hope this helps

dear faizyan,
both barrels are rifled.where as Aimco300 is under lever so it has a shade better advantage towards accuracy but Cannon 65 has an adjustable tigger which obviously adds to accuracy too.I am not very sure AIMCO has adjustable tigger or not.

Gents, yes an under lever is supposed to be a shade more accurate than the break barrel. But accuracy depends to a very large percentage on the shooter. You could have the best under lever but might not be able to shoot bulls eye even a short distances.
It also depends on your taste.
The three guns mentioned are perhaps the best springers made in the country.
Owning any one of them is good enough.
I for one would stick to break barrels.
