licene rejection
hello my brother has applied for np bore rifle all india validity in 2009 after all inquiry and apporvals licence goes to home department for approval in the mean time new home minister came and pass a new order to reinqure all the pending licence form and send them in new format .he is also memder of bhopal rifle club so all the the work start from zero after sending them twice i came to know that the licence is been rejected .is there any appeal or re seen procedure in home department. or any of the menber can help rgds

Yes, dont get disharted....Put An RTI,
1) Ask them, to give you resons for rejections...&
2) Ask them have they received the applications 2 times....
3) The police verification report which they have received - to give you a copy...
And my suggession, dont run after all India, get ur license made first...ok
at the end pls mention that
Information is sought in a printed format, Inspection of the file is not sought.

Further....if u not satisfied with the RTI reply..........go for an appeal.....if that also does not work, file a case against them.......After all its ur Right, u have to fight for it....

1st put an RTI, if not satisfied, they have an applant authority, after that it is high court.....
when u will get the reply....it should be written at the bottom of the reply, in case u r not satisfied with the reply, pls appeal to -------

Get a copy of the Arms Act and Rules.Read it a couple of times and you will get all your answers.The bare Act along with Rules is pretty cheap.
