IFG is already there on Facebook. Do a search on FB and you'll find it.

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

Membership is free for all this year, hence no money was required.
I have also sent my form by Speed Post today.

For those who have asked about the benefits of joining NAGRI
The single biggest benefit on offer (for all members) is that NAGRI will be working hard to protect the interests of all gun owners, aspiring gun owners and freedom loving citizens of India.
In due course NAGRI aims to also launch civilian marksmanship training programs/ certification courses, promote alternate (non-ISSF type) shooting sports to encourage wider participation & interest amongst citizens, provide discounted shooting related items, launch at least one shooting publication of quality etc. These things will all take time and I merely mention them here as some of the things that the governing body has been considering as part of our future roadmap.
But before anything will materialise, we need to build a strong member base! Before this year is out, we should try to bring on board 1000+ members from each State/ UT. This may seem modest, but we think this is a bare minimum for us to be able to successfully start independent State associations for every single State/ UT, something which is crucial to our plans of making this a truly representative national body.
So FIRST SIGN UP YOURSELF, then try to sign on as many freedom loving citizens as possible!
Cheers!
Abhijeet

Anyone and everyone can become a member. Just send the form and get more people onboard.

Splendid idea. Whats with all the questions from everyone? Its a no brainer - 1st year for free and the annual membership fee is INR 500 for which you can be part of the only organisation which truly cares about gun owners and the universal right to keep and bear arms. This is unprecedented(I think) In all our nations long history.Cheers!
P.S. Abhijeet -Noticed a small typo in the application form. "that I am not a member of any organisation or group which has any part of its programme the attempt to overthrow the Government of THE Republic of India"

One of my friends who works at a law firm said that the NAGRI emblem (in application form) resembling the tri-color COULD be a problem. He said that since this is a fight we have against the Govt. we should be cautious. One wrong move and they can use it for action against the Association, to hamper us.
What say people .. is it going to be a problem ??
