 waiting from Dec 2009 till now to get a Air Pistol ?? Hats off to your Patience Sudesh. I agree with KB, probably getting one imported would be shorter and better. Anyway all the best for your Air Pistol , do post a review and feedback on the compressed model once you get it . Many of us wants to know its peformance, specially when its bearing the tag "Made in India "

if a Air Pistol needs a waiting period of 8 months , no wonder why IOF people ask for 3 years waiting time . Truly Incredible india.
Thanks and Regards,
Saptarshi

Hi,

Seems IHP waits till they get an order of say 12- 15 pieces then they start manufacturing. I booked a compressed air rifle in July mid and they have committed to deliver within AUG, lets see what happens.

Congrats on your new pistol, Ive seen it and it seems like a good shooter.

well....look after it, and after a few years it'll be a collectible! :) ... you could then demand any price for it... er that is unless the IHP folks revert to 001 every batch of 12-15 guns...

congrats anyway.

Congrats Sudesh. You planning on changing the grips??

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

A lovely gun, did you get a chance to fill it up and shoot yet? Over time you can sculpt the handle to your hand size and make it fit like a glove.

As for the serial number, problly you have got an upgraded version so they have restarted the naming.

I am waiting for 2 guns one from IHP, the compressed air rifle, and one from Pyramid AIr a Beeman P17, the wait is killing... hats off you for your 9 months of patience..and what a baby you got :)

cheers,
rishu

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

Sudesh

despite all the hype this looks like the same old co2 pistol with a new design filling rig
the rest of the co2 pistol was the same i know that the old model valve was capable of taking the pressure of ca at 150 bar Yet this is a good buy

you will need to work a bit on the grip but who doesnot

Check the muzzle the guys at ihp normally forget to crown it if no crown get to me ill tell you how

This is a very good pistol once accurised it can go up to a single hole capability at 20 meters believe me I have two under my care though I converted mine to a mini carbine its still a good buy because of the possibilities
