HI

I'm Sukhminder, a native of Bathinda (Punjab) , has recently joined indiansforguns.com and is finding it quite usefull in terms of information regarding ARMs in India

I am going to collect my revolver by the end of july'2010 from kanpur

Please Provide clarity on the below given fact:

Recently it has come to my notice about some revision in policy regarding collection of TL(Transport License) from DM-Kanpur .

Is personal apearancy has become a neccasity before DM kanpur for getting TL (Transport License) and local working document agents are unable to access TL without physical apearance of the candidate.

Please provide the whole process on various verticals like

1) Time for whole process
2) Availability of DM
3) Any alternative available(Authorization to some other personnel for issuing TL) in case DM is not available at that point of time.
4) Documents required to get the TL

Quick Responce Appreciated!! Please revert..

Got my .32 for FGK this week, whole thing went smooth with help of Ram Singh Yadav. got T.L in morning 10.30 entered factory at 11.00, free by 1.00pm, got train in evening.

i have noticed that there is slight rust patches in barrel? may be due to humid weather in kanpur, how to remove them at home or i have to go to local gunsmith. i have tried to clean them with brass brush and nylon brush provided by FGK but not effective. thanks in advance.

IOF .32

Post by psharmajnu » Mon Jul 26, 2010 3:44 pm

I bought IOF .32 revolver five years back and have fired almost 250-300 shots. Still I feel problem with the trigger. It is hard and needs good effort to shoot. I talked to few people who said that after firing few shots, the spring will become loose and then it will be easier to shoot......still i am facing same problem. any suggestion please?
