side lock shot gun-FAO Mehul

Post by eljefe » Thu Dec 14, 2006 1:06 pm

HI Mehul, remember I had mentioned to you about seeing a security guard here in the hospital carry a side lever shotgun?
well, i tracked him down and managed a couple of snaps-standard plain jane!
I was expecting a Fraser side lever or something...

Asif,

While that is a sidelever looking like an old (and since abandoned) Harrington and Riochardson design, it is definitely not a sidelock.

Very frankly, I pity the person who has to use it because the design does look like it would go off the face with very few rounds fired. I doubt the stupid thing is ever used.
