FAC OTC is impossible , forget about it.
kanwar had a nice quick transit with one of his purchase, being carried by his parents, I recall, at the airport, though everyone is not so lucky I guess.

Buying a FAC powered gun is very much possible in UK/London. The rule of the FAC applies to UK residents. BAR will sell you one OTC. Infact buying OTC is the only option now dealers aren't supposed to ship airguns.hamiclar01 wrote:BTW, you cannot get a FAC power airgun in London. I thought you were getting it from the states
Although carrying a legal limit airgun at Heathrow is not too big a headache, as long as you follow the rules

I have read that thread Eternalme. I am not in favour of imposing any policy per say. Ya my blood also boil when I see people asking 10INR per pellet but then its not really their mistake. They can/will ask what ever they like for their goods. Its the responsibility of the buyer to use his mind and say no to these people.
And BTW IFG have "No comment" policy but I don't think any body will stop you if you do negociations over PM

I was not aware of OTC possibility for FAC gun, not sure though ,for ,if they do sell someone FAC gun that means a FAC gun is in open without being properly endorsed on any paper.UK people are overly gun sensitive (no wonder we have a similar system, in fact same system) don't know how they missed it.miss_3006 wrote:Buying a FAC powered gun is very much possible in UK/London. Thanks for the tips/info guys.much appreciated!
Even my sis said buying it from London and then getting it to Zurich would be an issue as Swill has very strict laws.
i guess i`ll just get the NRAI membership(Rs 21000)and ask pyramydair to courier the gun.
even if i ask my bro in law to get the gun customs will still charge 30% duty which effectively come s to 15-18k.
not much difference left in that case and Ill be having NRAI membership too which will make my Firearm licence easier to get to as i plan to buy a Walther ppk and a 30.06 : D very soon!
cheers

Pray enlighten us how BAR or anyone else will sell a visitor a FAC gun for export on British soil, without them having either the FAC itself, or a place to store the gun.miss_3006 wrote:Buying a FAC powered gun is very much possible in UK/London.
