Proposed OPEN competition - to be held in Delhi

This is to gauge interest for a proposed OPEN competition, to be held in Delhi.

Why is it called OPEN?

a) Domicile NO BAR
b) Type of firearm NO BAR (we will have categories to suit almost everyone)
c) Age NO BAR
d) NO previous qualifying rounds/ certificates required
e) OPEN TO all legal residents of India

The idea is to have a FUN and ACCESSIBLE shooting competition, that EVERYONE who may be interested can easily participate in - USING WHATEVER firearms & ammo you may have at yours disposal. There will be every effort to ensure that the various disciplines mimic practical shooting situations to the best possible extent.

Handicaps will be worked out later, based on finalised categories and the equipment people enter under each category.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED - PLEASE POST ON THIS THREAD.

The brain behind this idea is an international shooter who has brought innumerable laurels to the country, I am merely the messenger.

So long as it is legal, it is allowed! I hope that answers the question? In fact we do expect the airgun contingent to be fairly large - simply because of the low entry barriers

If one had only a few rounds, what legal mechanisms exist to get more ammo?

I wish I could go! I think it would be great fun to meet you all. Hopefully, some kind person will bring something for which there is no limit on ammunition: a camera, and then share the pics here!!
