Please if you guys could let me know how can one start with the competitions and what are the levels ..I mean for a layman how can it can be started at a very toddlers level...please throw some light.

You first need to choose what you are interested in, like Air Rifle/Shotgun etc. I suggest you start with Air Rifle. You would need to join a shooting range close to you and take some training or learn yourself. Then, you see what you would like to do next, competitions etc.
