Benefits of becoming an aspiring shooter in small bore rifle
Hi,I have just qualified in my .22 50 meters small bore rifle with a score of 567,people told me that I am eligible for getting a license of aspiring shooter,Can anyone please help me to know what are the benefits of becoming an aspiring shooter. Can I import a .22 rifle or can I only purchase it from my state and can I handle purchase bullets. Thank you

Hi Arsh, the nrai website has a very clear description on the advantages that an aspiring shooter has , suggest you read it at leisure
To sum up
1. You are now eligible for an arms licence in the same category of firearms in which you have shot the MQS
2. As an aspiring shooter you are eligible for higher quantity of ammo
3. You cannot still import a rifle( that's when you become a renowned shot ) after shooting the MQS at the nationals
