More or less. The ISSF crowd use both to mean the same thing.

BTW, a peep sight with a relatively larger aperature at the rear is known as a Ghost Sight.

Ranjeet,

Thanks for shooting more groups. Will add them to the results on page 2.

Danish,

The calculation is correct but I am not sure your measurement is. The pic is not clear and I am not sure if you have measured the group along the longest edge to edge distance. Bloody good shooting all the same.

I am adding your result to the table but let me know if it needs to be changed.

Okay.

Is the pellet fit just snug (reasonably tight) or very tight?

I used Diana mod-35 5.5mm, open sight, imported

Score is 19mm + 5mm(imported) - 5.5mm = 18.5mm

I hope the calculation is right.

Hi Danish,
I hardly get 4 hours in a week. In those 4 hours also you can not say how much your body/ mind is ready to utilize a shooting session of 1 hour long..

Mr Mack The Knife..
The pellets are not that tight.. its ok..

Finally, managed to shoot a group. Am adding the pic. It was my qb 78 now in .22 with a scope, distance ten meters. Pellets Crosman Premiers thanks to Sri Bana group size 30.5mm, wish I hadn't messed that one shot. ;-)
Oops there is another 5mm to add for non recoiling class. So my score is actually 35.5mm.

Regards,

Dev

Thanks looks like I am better with the long gun or maybe its the scope anyway thank you and I still have another four hundred assorted pellets that you sent. I also have enough compete in air pistol with the ones you sent before. ;-)

Dev

i just joined the forum,i guess i missed out on the online competition.if its ok im just submitting my scores merely for comparison :)
one stray shot set it off by a bit,so i got a group of 33 mm with my IHP national 35 rifle.
i hope my score is correct, with 10 shots at 10 metres in standing position the gorup was 33 mm,minus 4.5 mm i get 28.5 mm.

By Golly you need to get into ten meter competition if you aren't in it already. Jeez man I can just imagine what you'll be able to do with a match rifle. Great shooting, keep it up.
